Kick-off: 1730, 06/03/2021

Stadium: Allianz Arena

TV: BT Sport

Bayern Munich have won the last four Der Klassiker showdowns and look worthy favourites to edge out Borussia Dortmund again at Allianz Arena.

However, after a couple of 3-2 thrillers already this term, it will be a surprise if FC Hollywood have things all their own way on Saturday evening.

Everything points towards 27/20 for a home win and both teams to score being the way to go with our first Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund prediction.

A Look At Bayern Munich’s Betting Odds

Bayern have had a few abnormal blips this term but head into this contest in fine spirits following a cracking end to February.

Hansi Flick’s side have one foot in the Champions League quarter-finals after powering to a 4-1 win over Lazio in Rome.

FC Hollywood then stayed two points clear at the Bundesliga summit by crushing Cologne 5-1 at this venue.

Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry both bagged a brace after Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting had put Bayern ahead.

Teenage sensation Jamal Musiala has made a big impression of late, while Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich now seem back up to full speed following some injury issues.

Munich really found their rhythm late on last term, closing with 21 straight wins to clinch a famous Treble triumph.

Flick said: “We are concentrating on taking it one game at a time. That is what worked for us last year and we’ll stick with the same approach.”

Bayern have started strongly in their last two games, but Dortmund also tend to play without fear from the kick-off.

Looking at the Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund odds, we like 19/10 for both teams to score in the opening period.

That bet would have paid off in both Klassiker clashes so far this season.

A Look At Borussia Dortmund’s Betting Odds

Dortmund have had an up and down campaign, first under Lucien Favre and then his interim replacement Edin Terzic, leaving them out of the title race.

However, things have definitely picked up over the past few weeks, starting with a 3-2 Champions League victory at Sevilla.

That was followed by Bundesliga wins over Schalke and Arminia, with seven goals scored and none conceded, which have at least put Borussia just outside the top four.

Tuesday’s 1-0 German Cup success at Borussia Monchengladbach helped to maintain the momentum, with Jadon Sancho making it six goals in his last eight outings.

Terzic told the club website: “We performed significantly better in the second half, offered more and wanted to get on the ball more frequently.

“It was a knockout game. Winning is what counts. We managed that. We’re very happy and satisfied.”

Exciting striker Erling Braut Haaland is also enjoying a fine campaign, netting 27 times in all competitions for his club.

Club stalwart Marco Reus added: “I have the feeling that we’re simply looking better on the pitch, that we have a different energy.

“We work hard and we’ve proven in the last few weeks that we’re always good for goals.”

This is a big step up on recent assignments in terms of the quality of opposition, though, and may just bring Borussia back down to earth.

Let’s add 31/10 for a home win by 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 from the multiple correct score market to our Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund betting tips.
