We’ve been tracking the Gareth Bale transfer betting and the Wales winger has been cut to 33/100 to join any Chinese club this summer.

Bale is now very much out of favour at Real Madrid and punters can get 2/1 he returns to former club Tottenham on a permanent move before September 2.

Speculation had been mounting for some time that Bale is on his way out of the Bernabeu and Zinedine Zidane poured fuel on the flames over the weekend.

The 30-year-old was left out of Real’s squad to face Bayern Munich in the International Champions Cup in Houston.

“He wasn’t included in the squad because the club is working on his departure and that’s why he didn’t play,” Zidane said.

“Let’s hope, for everyone’s sake, that it happens soon. The club is dealing with the club that he’ll move to.

“It’s nothing personal. There comes a time when things are done because they need to be done. I’ve not got anything against him.”

Zidane branded ‘a disgrace’

Such public comments did not go down well with Bale’s camp, though, and his agent Jonathan Barnett hit back in no uncertain terms.

“Zidane is a disgrace to speak like that about someone who has done so much for Real,” Barnett told ESPN FC.

“If and when Gareth goes, it will be because it is in the best interest of Gareth and nothing to do with Zidane pushing.”

Bale looks set to leave the Bernabeu six years after arriving from Tottenham in a then world-record £85million deal.

Bayern Munich have been backed to swoop and are 3/1 to capture his signature in the Gareth Bale transfer odds, as they seek to replace Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

Manchester United have been touted as long-term admirers and are 6/1 in this market, while PSG are quoted at 7/1, with Bale possibly being used as part of a swap deal involving Neymar.
