Kick-off: 1500, 04/08/2019

Stadium: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tottenham are fancied to continue a promising pre-season run of form by beating Inter Milan on home turf in the International Champions Cup.

Spurs will have history on their side, having won all three previous meetings with the Nerazzurri in London, including last November’s 1-0 Wembley triumph.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men look in good shape to continue that sequence and 17/20 for them to prevail is our initial Tottenham vs Inter Milan prediction.

A Look At Tottenham Hotspur’s Betting Odds

Tottenham beat Juventus 3-2 in their opening game of this competition, before being edged out 2-1 by Manchester United in a competitive contest.

Spurs then went to Germany for the Audi Cup, where they shaded Real Madrid 1-0 in the semis and won a penalty shoot-out against hosts Bayern Munich in the final after a 2-2 draw.

Pochettino told the club website: “It was a very positive experience, I am so happy with the performance and behaviour of the players.

“We are learning a lot and improving a lot every day. It was amazing for the young players and of course for the senior players to build their fitness and to be stronger every day.”

Spurs have been starting matches brightly and 39/20 for them to lead at half-time and full-time stands out from the Tottenham vs Inter Milan odds.

A Look At Inter Milan’s Betting Odds

Inter began this tournament with a 1-0 loss to Manchester United in Singapore and then drew 1-1 with Juventus in China, before being beaten on penalties.

The Nerazzurri have since shaded PSG in a shoot-out for the International Super Cup in Macau, after Samuele Longo levelled things up deep into stoppage time.

New boss Antonio Conte told the club website: “I continue to see big improvements in mentality, in their desire to play football, to get at our opponents in their half, in their desire to win the ball back when we lose it.

“Certainly, these are positive aspects and I have to say that I’ve seen great willingness from the players. This makes me enthusiastic to continue on this path.”

However, on all evidence seen so far, English teams do look a touch further forward in their pre-season preparations than many European counterparts, owing to an earlier kick-off date for the Premier League.

Let’s finish off our Tottenham vs Inter Milan betting tips by taking 31/4 for a 2-1 home win.
