Kick-off: 1945, 11/06/2019

Stadium: Borisov Arena

TV: Sky Sports

Northern Ireland have picked up maximum points from their first three Euro 2020 qualifiers but may have to settle for a draw in Belarus on Tuesday.

Michael O’Neill’s men needed an 87th-minute decider to beat the same opponents 2-1 in Belfast back in March and face a tricky test at Borisov Arena.

We reckon 2/1 for a stalemate is fair value for our first Belarus vs Northern Ireland prediction.

A Look At Belarus’ Betting Odds

Belarus are bottom of Group C, but can be forgiven for losing 4-0 in Holland and 2-0 at home to Germany in their other two contests so far.

Goals from Leroy Sane and Marco Reus gave Die Mannschaft victory at this venue on Saturday, but the White Wings did go unbeaten through a Nations League D pool last year.

Leading club side Bate Borisov performed with credit in Champions League qualifiers and the Europa League and this match comes with their domestic campaign 10 games old.

That should give the hosts a fitness edge over battle-weary visitors and 3/1 for the scores to be level at half-time and full-time takes the eye from the Belarus vs Northern Ireland odds.

A Look At Northern Ireland’s Betting Odds

Northern Ireland showed great spirit to come from behind and win 2-1 in Estonia on Saturday, with substitutes Conor Washington and Josh Magennis striking late on.

O’Neill said: “When the game’s open like that and the players are tired and it’s this stage of the season, then anything can happen and I thought they deserved enormous credit for how they played in the second half.”

However, we just fear the hot and humid conditions in Tallinn will have drained the legs of his players, many of whom were playing for the first time in a month.

Also, for much of that fixture, Northern Ireland were off their game, sloppy in possession and unable to create any clear sights of goal.

This has all the makings of a cagey contest, so 5/4 for no goals to be scored in the opening period completes our Belarus vs Northern Ireland betting tips.
