We’re continuing our regular Serie A predictions with a near-10/1 Saturday treble from the eighth round of fixtures in Italy’s top division.

Spezia to beat Salernitana @ 11/10
The Little Eagles were solid at home during their maiden campaign at this level last season and will be hoping for some more positive results at Stadio Alberto Picco to help them stay up again. So far, they are 0-3 at this venue but only went down by the narrowest of margins to Udinese, Juventus and AC Milan. Having already prevailed away to Unione Venezia, we’re backing Spezia to see off another promoted team in Salernitana in our Serie A predictions.
Lazio and Inter Milan to draw @ 23/10
The Nerazzurri have rallied bravely following a turbulent summer and have started the defence of their title with a seven-match unbeaten sequence. Inter haven’t been as convincing as last season, though, and draws against Sampdoria and Atalanta showed some cracks do exist. Lazio have suffered a couple of disappointing away defeats but seven points from three home games is a decent haul and the Biancocelesti look set to be a top-six side again under Maurizio Sarri, so this has all the makings of a close contest.
AC Milan to beat Verona @ 11/20
The Rossoneri have only dropped two points from their first seven Serie A fixtures and that came when drawing away to Juventus. Stefano Pioli’s side went into the international break buoyed by a 3-2 triumph at Atalanta, where they impressively led 3-0 until a late rally by La Dea. Young forward Rafael Leao looks a real find for Milan and was rewarded for some eye-catching displays with a call-up to the senior Portugal side.
