Pakistan will be looking to replicate their Champions Trophy heroics when they bid to get their World Cup campaign back on track against India.

Sarfaraz Ahmed’s side, who were beaten by Australia on Wednesday, stunned their arch rivals in the 2017 showpiece at the Oval.

But Virat Kohli’s side are one of the favourites for the tournament and have impressed in their two completed games.

They are 2/5 to make it three wins from four and that is good enough as our initial India vs Pakistan prediction.

A Look At India’s Betting Odds

India eased to victories over South Africa and Australia before rain washed out their eagerly-anticipated clash with New Zealand.

Since the shock defeat to Pakistan in England two years ago, India responded to comfortably win their next two one-day international meetings.

Eight and nine-wicket victories in Dubai were built on impressive displays from Rohit Sharma, who hit 52 and an unbeaten 111.

The opener has also started the World Cup with a bang with scores of 122 not out and 57, but has since lost partner Shikhar Dhawan to injury.

However, that will not stop his fine form and Rohit is 11/4 to be his side’s leading run-scorer in the India vs Pakistan odds.

A Look At Pakistan’s Betting Odds

Pakistan sit third bottom in the table and know a win is vital to their hopes of making the top four.

The loss to Australia in midweek was their second in four matches, which also included a washout, and has left them with no margin for error in Manchester.

Their fielding and batting at times was a concern in Taunton, but Mohammad Amir has ensured their bowling has fired.

The left-armer returned impressive figures of 5-30 in a losing cause, taking his tally to 10 for the tournament, and has fond memories of snaring three Indian scalps in that Champions Trophy final.

He is the dangerman and is 333/100 to be their top bowler again in our India vs Pakistan betting tips.
