Stadium: Principality Stadium

TV: BBC

Wales have had a helping hand from the match officials in winning their first two Six Nations games but are still fancied to give England a tough test in Cardiff.

The hosts go into this contest with a much-improved injury situation and can always be relied upon to be fired up for this fixture.

Our first Wales vs England prediction is to take 10/11 for Wayne Pivac’s side with 6.5 points start.

A Look At Wales’ Betting Odds

Wales just about managed to scrape past Ireland 21-16 and Scotland 25-24 when benefitting from both of those sides having a man sent off.

However, they still deserve plenty of credit for twice coming from behind with line-ups depleted by injuries and suspensions.

Fit-again backs George North, Jonathan Davies and Johnny Williams are now set to be back in the selection mix, with only scrum-half Tomos Williams (hamstring) currently unavailable.

Wing Josh Adams could also return after completing a two-match ban for breaching coronavirus protocols to compliment the electric Louis Rees-Zammit.

British Lions forward Justin Tipuric is not getting carried away, but is ready for another tight tussle as Wales try to complete an unexpected Triple Crown.

“Everyone is pretty level-headed,” Tipuric said. “We haven’t been playing at the top of our game.

“We are still winning games, which shows we are doing something right, but we know we are not the perfect team.

“England are a world-class team, they do the basics really well and they know how to win games of rugby, so we know it’s going to be a tough game.”

The hosts should at least start out in a positive manner, though, so 7/4 they lead at half-time catches the eye from the Wales vs England odds.

A Look At England’s Betting Odds

England bounced back from labouring through an 11-6 loss to Scotland by running in six tries when beating Italy 41-18.

However, that was still far from a polished performance which raised plenty of questions about their style of play.

Legendary cricketer Sir Ian Botham, whose grandson James is a member of the Wales squad, spoke for many when assessing the holders’ form so far.

He told BBC Sport: “I think Wales can take them at this moment in time because England don’t look a happy camp to me, looking from the outside in.”

Forwards coach Matt Proudfoot dismissed the suggestion of discontent, stating: “I don’t think we’re an unhappy camp, I think we’re a very determined camp.

“Scotland were competitive against us, we were more dominant and a lot more together in the Italian game and I expect an improvement this weekend.”

There is still the feeling that England struggle to break free from a rigid kicking game and other teams can catch them cold if playing with more freedom.

Scotland scored the only try of the Calcutta Cup clash and Italy crossed the whitewash after just two minutes a fortnight ago.

Let’s add 6/4 for Wales to score the first try to our Wales vs England betting tips.
